Drawings:
Drawings go through three distinct yet unified stages: conceptual, preliminary and working (construction) drawings. The 1st of these, conceptual, can derive from either an idea, sketch, other plans or a combination of each, no real “hard” dimensions are applied, just a layout suggesting room locations. The 2nd - preliminary drawings, take all the information, notes, sketches, and ideas from the conceptual stage and assemble them into a floor-plan with real “hard” dimensions and basic elevations. The preliminary drawings can go through many changes before becoming the working drawings. The final set of preliminary drawings require each page be signed off signifying acceptance. Lastly, the working (construction) drawings - these are the final drawings in which the home will be constructed from. Changes to this set of drawings will always be reviewed by us to ensure component integrity due to engineering. These drawing are then combined with the contract and are call “Contract Documents”
**Please remember that every change, no matter how small can impact the total contract amount.**
